During this process, I have created the vision for the concepts, led groups of up to 20 people, and oversaw all progress as the projects came to fruition.
Co-Produced with Ryan Ward and Nick Reis, The Girl with the Yellow Hair is an award winning documentary detailing the rise of 17-year old Aaliyah Edwards as she blazes her own trail in the world of Canadian basketball. Her successes have not come easy, but she's persevered in large part due to the meaning she wears with her everyday.
This TARA award nominated 30 minute production is a fictitious game show finale to find the next star in the sports broadcasting world. An 18 person crew led by myself, the producer, worked tirelessly to create both live and pre-taped elements to bring a professional and entertaining spin to the competition-based sports show.
Co-produced with Ryan Ward and Nick Reis, The Miles McClure Show follows a fictional character through his unsuccessful journey to become a sports broadcaster. Through many creative elements and storylines, we created a show loosely based on sports, but a story that really steps out of the box of tradition sports entertainment.
Throughout the 2019-2020 I attended multiple Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association games in partnership with the GXS Lab. At the games, I researched and followed the game, then conducted various interviews with players and coaches in order to achieve the final product of recap videos of the Game of the Week such as the example shown.
